About Coronado

Visit the city of Coronado and enjoy all of the charms it has to offer!

From the historic Coronado Ferry Landing, the Hotel Del Coronado, the Silver Strand and all of the development communities, Coronado is truly an “enchanted” island. Relax by the beach and bay. Dine in one of a hundred restaurants. Choose from over 200 unique shops, boutiques and galleries. Watch the sunset over the Pacific from the award-winning Coronado beach.

Coronado is a small “Island Town” in San Diego Bay connected to the City of San Diego by the San Diego-Coronado Bridge and to the City of Imperial Beach to the south by State Highway 75. The town is a neighbor to Naval Base Coronado which includes Naval Air Station North Island, home port for aircraft carriers and the Naval Amphibious Base where the elite SEALS are trained.

Coronado is the perfect place to live or visit with the ability to swim, sail, surf, bike, run, walk, roller blade, play tennis, play golf, or visit Coronado’s museum. The nightlife and world-famous attractions of San Diego are just a short drive across the Coronado Bridge. Coronado is also a short drive to both the San Diego International airport as well as Tijuana International Airport.
